ADMIT OVER 3,000,000. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONbOX, September 11. The Press Bureau announces that casualties reported in German casualtylists, which do not include naval casualties or those of colonial troops, in August totalled 240.957. This number comprised 42,723 killed, 44,674 prisoners, and 153,549 wounded and missing. ; The casualties reported by the German lists since the beginning of the war total 3,370,134. This number comprises: , Killed 532,163, prisoners and missine 399,769, wounded 2,144,202 .
