TRENTHAM CAMP.
| (To the Editor.) Sir, —I observe that the Hon. Mr. j Allen has stated that he is a "great believer in prayer.' As mothers of soldiers, 'too, we would tell that gentleman we also believe that "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avaikth much," and pray that Treatham camp will be removed before the germs that are there kill more of our brave men and lads. A few days ago it was stated the extraordinary part of the sickness was among incoming men, clearly snowing that the disease is in the camp and claiming victims as they arrive fresh from other districts. Praying my prayer will evoke prayers from the righteous praying men and women of the Dominion, and that prayer will be answered.—l am, etc, A MOTHER OF SOLDIERS. PA—Treatham should be a camp for I shirkers, sot soldiers.
