THE GREAT SOUTH ROAD.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—A portion of the Great South Road, Penrose, was allotted by the late Commission to the Ellerslie Town Board to keep in good repair. Is it not the duty of this Commission to.see that the Ellerelie Board keep their portion in repair? ITie road is a disgrace, and the footpaths are under water in many places when it rains. Can you suggest how we can get it put in order, as the Ellerslie Board takes no interest in it? —I am, etc., BACKBLOCKS.
