SCATTERED SIX TIMES.
PRUSSIAN GUARDS MOWN DOWN. LONDON, August 28. The Paris correspondent of the London "Daily Chronicle" writes: —"In their recent counter-attacks against the British the Prussian Guards advanced with great bravery, and charged six times. They were aa often shattered. The German attack was prepared on a significantly narrow front, -with great thoroughness, and leaves more marked the contrast between the enemylß impotence and our steady, although difficult progress."
