Occidental.—At No. 0 level the reef in thp drive has shown further improvement, a few rtabfl of cold can be seen In some of
the ore. At No. 4 level Kouth of the shaft a drive has been put In 10ft on a cross leader. This is composed of nice looking quartz, iind has shown a little gold. The Occidental reef in the stope appears about the same as usual, and should make more pifked stone at any time. Driving north of the shaft at No. 4 level another break has been met with in the face, which has displaced the reef. The manager hopes to pick up the reef agalu shortly.
