A Belgian politician has received a letter from relatives in Belgium, describing the ruthlessness of the German regime in starving the people ta many towns in Flanders demonstrations were held in the streets, the people bearing placards: "Bread or death"; while many riots occurred. Germans sabred the demonstrators, and forbade demonstrations under penalty of five years. . ■ - ■ ..'.... They continue extensive requisitions, and do not conceal their intention of a systematic policy'of starvation to compel the Belgians to raise their voices in favour of peace. '
