Home-killed mutton and English lamb are In good supply. Ntjw Zealand mutton and lunib are In small eupply. Prices are unchanged, -with the result that arrivals of mutton are very heavy, with prices weak. Argentine lamb prices firmer. New Zealand mutton, Bjd; ewe mtrtton, BJd; Argentine mutton, Oid. New Zealand lamb. Old. Argentine lamb, IOJd. New Zenhmd null lieef: Hinds, 64; force, 5Jd. Argentine chilled beef: Hinds, OJd; fores, 7jd. Butter.—Tine market is very quite. Dauteli, salted, 170/ to 174/; Canadian, suited, 160/ to 162/; Australian, salted, 158/ to 160/; N"ew Keatand, salted, 100/ to 168/, and up to 170/, unealted, 168/ to 170/; Irish creamery, salted, 150/ to 160/; Argentine, salted, 15*/ to 156/, unsalted, 150/ to 160/. Cheese. —The market Is depressed, and closed Irregular and unsettled. Canadian, white 84/ to 88/, coloured 84/ to 88/; English dieddnr, 102/ to 101/. The N.Z. market has been unfavourably affected by heated and damaged cheese, nnd higher prices refer to sales made earlier during the week. White and coloured, 82/ to 84/ and up to 80/ to 88/; United States, flats, •white, 80/ to 80/. Hemp.—The market is quiet, with but little doing, but good feeling prevails. Good fair New Zealand hemp, £48 10/; fair, £47; Government graded fair Manila, £52; coarse, £49; July-September shipment, good fair New Zealand £18, fair £40, Government graded fair .Manila £30 10/, coarse £48. The output of hemp at 'Manila for the week ending last Saturday wan 32,000 bales. Wheat.—The market is quiet, but holders uto firm. Canadian, arrived 52/, afloat SV. Oats.—Tho market Iβ quiet.
