ffte contractors and committee in charge of refitting the Antarctic ship Aurora are proceeding with the work at Pout Chahnere. Replacing of the planking end frames and the renewal of fastenings: are among the operations. A new radder and rudder-post will also be attached. The hull sheathing , is being stripped off, and the important work of caulking the veeeel ie being carried out as expeditiously as possible. Captain Stenhouse and all concerned wifh the relief ship are very anxious to get the reconditioning completed, and. to pro-ceed-to fhe reecne of the-men of the JShackleton -expedition left_ i% Soutjbu
