NAVY LEAGUE FUND.
OVER £15,000 DONATED.
The Navy League Fund has now reached £15,000, and from the generous response forthcoming it is expected that this amount will be considerably augmented before the conclusion of the campaign. / The executive intends to send in the course of a few days through the Premier an additional remit of £5000 to the parent League in London. This makes a total amount of f 15,000 sent away by i the Auckland League, which the executive regard as highly satisfactory. His Excellency the governor, the Earl of Liverpool, ard the Countess have autographed 25 special programmes of the Grand Naval Concert, to be held in the Town Hall on Thursday next. These are now on sale at the E. and F. Piano Agency. Any not disposed of will be offered by auction at the concert itself.
