The meeting of the W.C.T.U., held in the Central Mission Hall on Wednesday afternoon, took the form of a pay-up social. Mrs. J. Cook presided. Items for the programme were supplied by Airs Mason, Mrs. H. Mason, Misees Miller'and Turner. The arrangements for the afternoon tea were in the hands of Mrs. \Y. Taylor, who carried out her duties in a most efficient manner. Miss Evans addressed the meeting, and made an appeal for workers for the special literature campaign, also for new members to join tho union.. The meeting closed with an initiation service, at which a number of ladies Trere-received into fellowship; "
