MEDICINE FOR MAORIS.
A SPIRITUALIST ARRESTED.

HASTINGS, this day.
'■Professor" Ishcnvood, a spiritualist and clairvoyante, who was operating in Hastings for three months, wae arrested to-day on a charge of obtaining money by false pretences, by the sale of alleged miedicinc to v Maori. Similar charges arc pending. Accused was remanded for a week, bail being fixed at self in £400 and two sureties of £200 each.
