Miss Ilodskins j wii one of our tinest exponents of ! water-colour some years back, and her i pictures were familiar in ail the best | galleries in New Zealand. Of late she j has been engaged as art instructor in i the Juiien Ateliers in Paris, that famou- ' school so familiar to us as the home o; I Miis Hodgkins' pie- '• ture is called "Gipsies," and is praised for its technique.
