AUSTRIANS ADMiT RETIREiyiENT ON KOLOMEA FRONT. LONDON, June 30. A Russian eommuniiiue states:—'•After artillery preparation General Ictchitsky's troops, despite the enemy's desperate resistance, dealt a violent toov.- between the Dniester and the Pruth. carrying three lines of trenches. '■Cesperato lighting has besrun on the front along the River Czertovetz, a tributary of the Dniester, and round the town of Kuty, on the eastern frontier of Bukowina, where we inflicted losses on the enemy. "In addition to 10,506 prisoners taken during the day, we captured a large number of machine-guns. One regiment captnred a heavy battery of four gun 3 intact The total of Austrian and German prisoners taken since the 4th inst. is 205,000. '"Desperate fighting continues at the village of Linovka, on the River Stochtd." - 4 -n Austrian communique states-.—"The enemy east of Kolomea renewed mass attacks on a front of ir, miles. There was stubborn fighting. Our reserves at several points hurried forward and repulsed superior enemy forces, nut in the evening -s-ere obliged to retire from part of the Kolomea front and southwards."
