NEW PACIFIC LINE.
NO WORD IN SYDNEY. (Received 11.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Concerning the report that Houlder Bros., the well-known British shipping firm, .were about to start a monthly service between San Francisco and NewZealand and Australia with modern boats, the Sydney representatives of the I firm state that they nave not received any advice on the subject. The representatives declare that with ships so scarce as they are at present the chance of any new line being started is very remote.
