NOISY OBSEQUIES.
FUNERAL OF YUAW-SHIH-KAL IMPOSING CORTEGE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) PEKING, June 29. The funeral of the late President (Yuan-shih-kai) was most imposing. The procession included leading naval and military officers, priests, lamas, officials, and diplomatists. As the train left, 101 guns 'were fired, and bells and gongs beaten 101 times throughout the city.
