The Paris Press is convinced that the German strength is steadify diminishing and cannot repeat the fury of the first attack at Verdun. ( A semi-offichvl' Note says that at least a division strong, assailed Mbrthommc but could not gain a footing on the hill. The movements of troops suggest that an attack on the French right wing is impending, but every day is being utilised to strengthen the French positions.
