ALLIES' SHIPS SUNK BY SUBMARINES.
■ ENEMY CLAIMS A TONNAGE OF 40,000 THIS MONTH. LONDON, March 20. German reports claim that nineteen ships belonging to the Allies were sunk between March 1 and 18, of a total tonnage of 40,000. An Amsterdam message states that it is reported that three large submarines, each with a crew of 120 men, were completed at Antwerp last week, and ar-! 1 now preparing for immediate service off the Belgian coast.
