A German official statement Says that there were no German mines in that part of the North Sea where the Dutch liner Tubantia was lost, nor could a German submarine have been there, the locality being wifchiu the area described in the declaration of February 4, 1915, as "not dangerous to navigation." Referring to this statement, the Secretary to the Admiralty states that no British submarines were in the vicinity at the time of the disaster. DUTCH GOVERNMENT SENDS A SHARP NOTE.
