ACTION RT FARMERS.
NEW SITE CHOSEN,
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
HAMILTON, this day. At a large meeting of farmers at Hamilton on Saturday the saleyards question was further discussed, and it was decided by a majority of 40 to 15 to adopt a site of 36 acres at Claudelands for the erection of new yards. A deputation will wait on the Council On Monday night to place alternate proposals before that body, to either remove, the present yards or permit the fanners to erect yards of their own, under their own control. The site chosen lies between Peach Grove Avenue »nd Clyde Street.
