ASSISTANCE TO SERBIANS.

The need of helping distressed Serbians is being recognised more clearly by the public every day, a-nd as the appeal from the committee is now to be circulated, it is ■hoped that more l\beral help will come forward from the borough councils, various patriotic and other societies, and from business firms. The Women's Mutual Aid Society set to -work for the Serbian*, and the net proceeds of their concert amounted to £64. The committee of the Mayor's; Serbian War Relief Fund paid a tribute to the organisers of the concert, and said: "It was exceedingly well managed, ■with exceptional eager interest."
