RUSSIAN PROGRESS IN LAKE VAN SECTOR.

f LONDON, March 16. A Russian communique states: —"Continuing the pursuit of the Turks we captured 21 officers and 3,200 men at Kasrik, south of Van, in" Armenia."
BRAZIL MAY FOLLOW PORTUGAL'S LfAD.
WILL PROBABLY REQUISITION INTERNED GERMAN SHIPS.
{Received 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, March 16. The Exchange Telegraph Company's agent says .that it is stated in diplomatic circles that the Brazilian Government will be compelled owing to transport shortage to requisition interned German ships. Brazilian financial circles point out that Germany has requisitioned £7,000,000 worth of Brazilian coffee at Hamburg, and liaa hitherto refused to pay for it.
