. • ' ,V-.I BOY'S SUDDEN DEATH. V A very sad fatality occurred at the Masonic Ilull"in Huntly on Monday evening, just before the time for holding the farewell social tendered to the Rev. J. Richards. Presbyterian minister. A number of people were already present, and the kerosene heater, on which the water for the tea whs to be boiled was being got ready, when some kerosene, which had been spilled on the outside of the heater caught fire, and immediately the whole thing was in a blaze. The heater was promptly picked up and carried outside, but it -presented such a dangerous appearance with the flames rising up from it that people were mucli frightened.
