On Saturday evening last tho March meeting of the Auckland Assistant Hastens' Association was held in the Masonic Hall, Belgium Street. Mr. (J. Barber (president) was in the chair, a good attendance of members being present. Among the matters dieeusecd ■were the remits to N.Z.E.I. conference at Easter, and the proposed Dominion ! grading edicme. Alter the business part of the evening, an enjoyable musical programme was provided, Messrs. Sbep--1 Hintz, Hutton and Garland being »r»nn£ i?w performers.
