AMALGAMATION OF MUSICAL SOCIETIES.

WELLINGTON, this day. ; At a meeting of the Royal Choral Society last night a resolution was carried agreeing to amalgamate with the Wellington Musical Union. The meeting was adjourned till Thursday, when a conference of the two bodies will be held. Amalgamation is necessary owing to the number of male members who have enlisted.
