INQUEST AT HUNTLY.
An inqueet on the body of Francis Alexander Twiname was held on Saturday at the Courthouse, Huntly, before Mr. F. J. Farrell, J.P. (coroner), and a jury consisting of Messrs. James Elliot (foreman), Thomas Aspay, J. Brooks, W. Rust, G. George, and H. H. Sissons. Robert Kerr, miner, said he saw the deceased alive about ten minutes prior to his death about 6.5 p.m. on Thursday. He walked to the junction with the deceased. On the way he complained of a stitch in the left side, and remarked that he would require to take more exercise, as he was putting on condition. They returned together, and parted at the screens, about 250 yards from the office where he died.. Deceased was very stout. He seemed in excellent spirits. He assigned no reason for the pain in his side. Dr. Henry Caldwell Tait expressed the opinion that the cause of death was heart failure. The jury returned the following verdict: "That deceased came by his death from natural causes, and, in accordance with the medical evidence, due to heart failure."
