In aid of the French Red Cross Fund a Paddy's Market was held in the main street, Paeroa, on Saturday night. A large, amount of live etock and produce was donated, and all the stalls were wefl filled. Brisk business was done, and as a result the cum of approximately £20 was raieed. For the samis cause the ladies committee was granted the sole nghta of the refreshment booth at the Hauraki A. and P. Association's Short, held there on Saturday, and the sum of £30 -was netted. j .
