In response .to the suggestion, of many citizens, the Mayor of Auckland has de-cided-to call a public meeting--to be held in the Chamber of Commerce at 3 p.m. on Thursday to 'consider the establishment of a memorial- fund to suitably . place on record the esteem in which the i late Mr. J. C.-Micky, who was drowned in-, the Lusitania disaster, was held. Thc'Ma'yor e-qireSßes the hope that as - many mombetn of the business community as possible will bo present.
