The Japanese Ambassador to France, when interviewed on his arrival at Marseilles, said Japan was following with interest,the development of the war. They did not doubt the issue. Japan's role w since the capture of Tsing-tau and the disappearance of German warships from the Pacific has been confined to supplying Russia with munitions and food. The Japanese factories shared in. the triumph of the capture of Erzeroum.
