FURIOUS STRUGGLE FOR GORZ.
*WHOLE BANK OF THE ISONZO UNDER FIRE. ITALIAN PROGRESS ON THE HEIGHTS. , LONDON, November 23. Fighting for the Gorz-Doberdo Plateau proceeds with undiminished violence' Notwithstanding the rainstorms, the Auetrians arc not allowed a moment's rest. The whole bank of the Isonzo River is bathed in Italian fire. A Rome message states: "The struggle for Gorz. has continued for eight days with uninterrupted fury. There have been assaults on every position. The Italians are within a ifew yards of the summits of Podgora and San Chele and San Martino. Saturday's captures of the heights of Oslavia seem to herald tbe end."
