The Waikato Frontiersmen held their annual shooting competition for the Frontiersmen , * Shield at Captain MacGregor'e range, Gordonton, on Saturday, The shoot wa* not concluded, owing to the failiag light. Five men each from the D Squadron (Hamilton) and C Squadron (Ngaruawahia) have yet to fire over a 700 yds range. Saturday's scores were as under: — D Squadron. — Kibblewhitc, 300 yds 30, 500 yds 30, 700 yds 23; Captain MaeGregor, 22, 23 —"; D. Miseen, 26, 31, —: Lieut. Eisdale, 23, 27, —; S.
