"The Sixth Reinforcements, as far as I know, are already lighting at Gallipoli," said the Minister for Defence, the Hon. .]. Al'cn, in the House of Representatives tonight. Mr Allen said that the fourth and fifth drafts hnd been so well trained in New Zealand that they were abie to go right past Egypt to the firingline, and he believed that the excellent training of the Sixth Reinforcements had also made it possible for the men to be taken direct to the front.
