A splendid piece of work in the sreat concrete breastwork at Waterloo Quay linx just been comploted by the Weilirifrton Harbour Hoard. It encloses a larßf area of reclaimed land, which, beinj? rij,'ht in the railway mid ebipping end of this city, i« of groat value as real estate. The engineer (Mr. Jan. Marchbanns) wa« complimented on the work by members of the Lioaid at its la*t meeting. Mr. V. E. Danioll, chairman of the Hoard, mid tho tio%ernnient had been approached with a view to joining the Hoard in extending reclamation hey»nd the concrete wall. At the moment the Government had been unable to share in the work with the Board.
