GRIFFITHS SENT TO PRISON. GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER. SYDNEY, September 3. John Griffiths has been found guilty of manslaughter in connection with tha death of his father, and has been sentenced to six months' imprisonment, with hard labour. Griffiths was tried on a charge of murdering his father. The latter was found at his home at Pyrmcyit, with several fingers severed, and with his head split open. A sword was lying beside the body.
