CRYSTALATE CUP AND GOLD MEDAL TOURNAMENT. •Though the war has taken much interest out of amateur events, the promoters of the crystalate cup and gold medal tournament (Messrs. Alcock and Co., Ltd.), lave decided to hold this annual event as usual. Though the entry list is somewhat smaller, than in former years, some good players are included iv the list, and the games should be quite as exciting as is customary in these contests. They will take place in the showrooms of the Arm, second floor, Strand Arcade, on a standard pocket table, with crystalate balls. The following are the entries and draw: Matthias v. Massey, J. Russell v. McMillan, E. Burke v. J. Cooke, Hackett v. MadiU, Goodhew v. Hemus. Play will commence on Wednesday evening next, at eight o'clock, when Messrs Matthias and Massey will decide their game.
