"HUMPTY DUMPTY" TANTOMIME. The Stephehson-Liriley pantomime extravaganza "Hnmpty Dumpty" is to be presented at His Majesty's Theatre to-night t for a short season. The management at this theatre have for some weeks past been obtaining some really fine war'films, inaiiy'of which have been founded upon the present • great conflict. . The picture is shown in three reels, and the management claim that there is not a dull moment in the whole story. "The Best Man" figures at the head of the current bill at the King's Theatre, where there was another satisfactory bouse last night. .. „ .-.-.. ~ ~ A film entitled "Heroes One and All" takes the place of the serial drama "The Trey o' Hearts" at the Grafton Theatre this evening. ALEXANDER. ~:^ The forthcoming visit of Mr. Arthur Alexander to Auckland Is being appreciated in musical circles. The direction under wbksh;"Mr." iXlexander is appearing claims!' that .the -recitals- given -by this artist are unusually attractive, even to those .whose taste is less aesthetic than that of the' 1 '.highly educated musician, be they student, teacher or the simple lover of music.
