a FALL-INTO A DITCH. (By Telegraph.—Own. Correspondent.) PUE7EKOHE, Thursday. The body of one of Pukekobe's oldest residents, David Dalton, aged 7S yeans, was found yesterday in a ditch on the roadside near his bouse. He was last seen walking home on Saturday night It is sapposed that in stepping off the road in the darkness he fell into the ditch and was unable to get out again because of the water and blackberry bushes with which it is filled. Deceased had been a farmer in Pukekohe ever since he arrived at Auckland by the ship Ganges, over fifty years ago.
