WORKMANLIKE FORCE.

AUSTRALIAN CORPS. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) LONDON, March 20. - Romsey, a little town in Hampshire, near Southampton, is now full of soldiers, the Australian Transport Corps being prominent. The men appear to be fit and workmanlike, brown and hard, and capable of turning their hands to anything. Their leather caps and brown leggings harmonise with their brown faces and give them a distinctive exotic touch. If the men are impressive so is the motor transport that they have brought with them. It is now at Broadlands Park, once the home of Lord Palmerston. After seeing the Canadians wallowing in mud at Salisbury Plain it is a joyful surprise to find the Australians so dry ■ I and comfortable.
