TEACHERS' DIPLOMAS AWARDED. The results of the theory section of the examination for vocal and instrumental diplomas conducted by the Board of Trinity College of Muaic,* London, in Auckland, in Devember, have been received by the local secretary, Mr. H. G. Dutton. Sixty marks-were "required for a pass in each of the subjets in this section, art of teaching and rudiments of music, the maximum marks in each case being 100. The following candidates were successful :- Teacher's Diploma (Associate): Lucinda M. Townson, art of teaching 78; Irene M. Watts, art of teaching, 77, rudiments. 65: Hazel A. Wilson art of teaching 62, rudiments 64. Certificate: Annie Shaw (Surrey Hills Convent), rudiments. 72; Gertrude Gardner (Surrey Hills Convent), rudiments, 68; 'Florence M. I'ankow. rudiments, 65.
