INFANT LIFE PROTECTION.
N.Z. SCHEME PRAISED. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) (Received 8.30 ajn.) LONDON, March 21. Mrs. Irving, discussing the question of infant welfare before the National Union of Women Workers, said New Zealand had the most perfect system. The mother of the infant was given skilled attendance and advice. The infant death-rate had fallen in five j years from 80 to 35 per 1,000.
