FLOUR FAMINE THREATENED.
SHORTAGE IN PERTH. (Received 9.50 a.m.) PERTH, this day. A flour famine is threatened. There is only 5,500 tons in the hands of the millers, while the consumption is 3,000 tons monthly. The Government has done nothing in the way of importation, and the millers consider that it is now too late to avert a shortage.
