ZEPPELIN RAID ON PARIS.

BOMBS DROPPED ON CITY AND SUBURBS. LITTLE DAMAGE DORE AND NO LIVES LOST. (Received 11.15 a.m.) PARIS, March 21. A Zeppelin raid occurred at 1 o'clock this morning. On the approach of three machines being signalled the inhabitants were warned by bugles, and the city was plunged in darkness. Several incendiary bombs were thrown upon the city, and.many in the western suburbs, including seven at Asnieres, where three were injured and considerable damage was caused. Four were injured elsewhere, and some fires broke out, but the damage was not serious. ■ Another account Bays that four Zeppelins were sighted near Compiegne. Guns drove back two, but the rcinainucr reached the outskirts of the city. .Searchlights revealed the raiders, and the guns attacked them. Apparently they hit one. and both wore soon driven off. Little damage was done to property, while eight persons were slightly and one seriously injured. Aeroplanes participated in the defence, but the mist hampered them.
