SINKING OF DRESDEN.
THE GERMAN VERSION. j ANCHORED OFT SHORE. - (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) LONDON, March '21. Wounded. German officers at Valparaiso allege that the Dresden was anchored 400 metres fresn the shore when the British: warships opened fire upon her. They state that-the Germans signalled a protest against this alleged violation of the -neutrality of Chilian waters. The British, they.' assert, nevertheless persisted. The crew of the Dresden fled inland, leaving the commander and a few men on the vessel, who blew up the magazines.
