ORAMA'S FIGHT WITH THE NAVARRO.
GERMAN ARMED LINER SUNK OFF RIVER PLATE. TURNS TURTLE AFTER BRIEF DUEL. (Received 10.20 a.m.) NEW \ORK, March 21. The "New York Herald states that the German armed liner Navarro was sunk off thcßivor Plate on November 11 by the Orama. .She tried, to avoid, a fight, out after an hour's chase the Orama opened -fire. .••..-.-■.-. ii - ■'. The Navftrro's-'uppcr'works were soon ablaze, and the shells destroyed all her "boats except" four, 2which escaped just before the final explosion, the survivors being taken prisoner by the Orama. The Navarro turned turtle and sank.
