NIGHT ATTACK IN THE CHAMPAGNE REPULSED
ALLIES CARRY GERMAN POSITION AT LES EPARGES. BLOCKHOUSE AND KURT-TONS BLOWN TO*. PARIS, March 21. An official report states that the Allies repulsed a night attack at La Boiselle, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy's forces. The Allies' artillery caused heavy losses west of Perthes. The Allies carried the greater part of the German position at Les Eparges alter a two days' struggle. The enemy counter-attacked on three occasions without success, leaving many dead. The French artillery blew up a blockhouse and several ammunition wagons and stores at Bois Montmore, in the Woevre district.
