TRADE IK SAMOA. , A meeting of the-Auckland Chamber ol Commerce was held yesterday afternoon. A letter was received from tbe Prime MtnUter acknowledging the receipt of tbe .petition from the merchants of Apia urging. that a new medium .of exchange should'be established between" Samoa and:Ne* Zealand, forwarded to him by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce.; Mr Maseey . promised that the representations in regard to the matter would • receive-"the, , careful consideration of Government.
