BOROUGH 9OTTCES. IN RESPECT OF SANITATION. To forbid the burial of nigh'tsoil. offensive matter or. dead Animals within the Borough except by permission of the oouncil; the deposit of such matter, or iiny rubbish, on any street, foreshore, or vacant land. To regulate the eopstrnctlon and maintenance of privdes, and the removal of nlahtsoil. To require backyards of a certain area to be asirtiaited. - To forbid .the accumulation .of rab- ' bish, and regulating the" removal of same. To-forbld the keeping of poultry, except in properly-constructed, enclosed runs; and the accumulation of stable refuse and other rubbish. To forbid «>e deposit of refuse, ehopsweeptags, or rubbish of any description, in any street, the deposit thereon ot any fruit or fruit skins, the distribution therein of bills and other matter. DBAINAGE. To require all P™per,ty within the 'Borough to be provided with drains to carry away sewage and refuse matter. To regulate the construction of sewage and o'her drains, and the con■nectipn of same with the Borough / sewers, and to foiibid auy connection with Borough sewers or any alteration in any drains without permission. .. To provide for tHe inspection pr the Council's Inspector of all drainage work. To require the removal or repair of any defective wort. To provide for the use of pipes. material and things of a standard quality and to regulate the method of construction, of all drainage wort and all appliances and apparatus appurtenant thereto. To provide specifications for pipe laying In connection with drainage and • regulate the method of laying pipes. and the material to be used. To provide specifications for plumbers of the material to be nsed and for all plumbing work in connection with drains and drainage. To provide for the execution of certain ; drainage work by licensed , drain connectors only, and of certain other drainage work by authorised plumbers only, and to forbid any other person to execute such work. IN RESPECT OF SEA BATHING ASD BEACHES. To prescribe clothing to be worn by persons bathing on beaches open to public view and to forbid any person to undress in any place open to public view. To forbid males to trespass, upon any part of the beach eet apart for the exclusive use of females, and vice versa. To regulate the use of dressing sheds. To forbid persons in bathing costumes to loiter or remain on beaches or public places longer than is neceeI sary to enable tSem to pass from dressing place to water or to return. IX RESPECT OF WATERWORKS. To require vehicles plying for hire to be licensed, and prescribing the conditions that may be imposed by such license, and requiring evich vehictee to toe first approved by the ■Borough Inspector.
