CYCLING.

The Australian one and five miles championships were decided in Sydney lost Saturday, and resulted in New South Wales keeping both events —A. Burtenshaw carrying off the mile race and A. Taylor the longer event. A number of inter-State visitors competed. In the mile the accredited Victorian representative, A. McDonald, fell when 150 yards from the finish. Subsequently the same rider ran second in the five-miles championship.
