MEN FOR WHANGAREI SECTION.) " Yesterday Mr. Gerald Peacocke, chairman of the Auckland Railways League, wired to the Hon. W. Fraser, Minfetei for Public Works, pointing out that the money voted for. the, Kirikopuni section of the North Auckland railway had not been spent, and suggesting that men now released from tunnel "work at Parnell should be transferred to this section. Mr. Peacocke has received from the Minister the following reply: "Your wire received. The survey " 0 r line from* Kirikopuni southwards is not yet completed. I have instructed mv Department to put on to the Whangarei line the men released fronj your tunnel work"
