RECRUITS ACCEPTED.
This morning only sixteen men came before the doctors at the Drill Hall for medical inspection. Six were unfit," and the rest were accepted. The number of applicants for enrolment in the Expeditionary Forces has slightly decreased during the past few weeks, a fact that is attributed to the lack of definite information as to the date when the next draft leaves Auckland for Trentham. It has been officially announced that the next lot of men leaves here about the middle of April. Following are the names of the men who were accepted this morning:— C. A. Couch S. B. Probert. L.
