MEW BRITISH INDUSTRIES. COLONIAL CO-OP-RATION WANTED. At thi s afternoon's meeting of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, a letter was read from H.M. Trade Commisisioner in New iZealand, calling the attention of th c Chamber to the fact that a 'British Trade Fair ie to be held in tne i Agricultural Hall, London, and request- | ing those interested in the subject to communicate direct 'with the Board of |Trade, "British Industries Fair," London." At th c fair there will be exhibitions of samples of British manufactures in order to book contracts. Tlie fair is limited to toys, fancy goods, earthenware and glassware, cutlery, electroplate, clocks, common jewellery, paper and stationery. It will open on May 10 and continue for 14 days. The goods in question are being made specially to replace those previously supplied by Germany.
